It is now a requirement for Commercial Catering companies to hold a Gas Safety Certificate for the appliances that they have. Gas Services Extra has the ability to check your premises for compliance with the new Gas Safety Regulations and issue the required Gas Safety Certificates.

Gas safety checks are an integral part of our business where gas appliances are installed. We keep all relevant maintenance records, and a copy can be supplied if necessary.
Schedule of a Typical Service visit-
- Clean and check all control switch contacts
- Check cable connections are tight
- Check element cable connections are tight and that the insulation is satisfactory
- Check earth connections are tight
- Check pilot light is working
- Check fuse and renew if necessary
- Check ball valve is operating freely
- Check float is not punctured
- Check cold water inlet strainer and clean
- Check overflow pipe, drain pipe, and draw-off tap are clear
- Check safety valve and relief valve
- Gas tightness tests
